pretentiouselfLeo has weak magical abilities. Specifically, he is able to tell truth from lie, and able to make one thing appear as another. His abilities are weak and most trained magicians of any shape or form will be able to see past this, and it's also something he uses fairly infrequently.
Please let me know if:
a) you have a character that would be able to see straight past this,
b) you have a character who wouldn't be able to,
c) would prefer I avoid him using this power on or around your character for any reason or
d) have anything else you'd like to bring up.
For Tolkien characters specifically: Leo is a nerd and has taken on the name Earendil (without the umlaut because he's a lazy arse). By default, I play this as the Earendil he knows, and the Tolkien canon he knows, is a serial numbers filed off version that is unrecognisable to the real thing but happens to have one name that co-incides by default of there's only so many syllables out there. Please let me know if for any reason you don't mind him recognising your character, or have any other concerns/comments about this!
For all 'High Elves': However, he will still geek out over anyone who fits his ideal of a high elf. Generally this comes through as him doing his best to portray a 'one of you' type feeling and bigging himself up, but if this causes any problems, or if you'd like me to tone it down (or up!) again, please let me know!
I don't think that he should hit any triggers, but if for any reason he does, again, please let me know. If you have any concerns you'd like to bring to me privately please feel free to PM his account.
